LYNDAL EDWARDS

A woman called Lyndal realised she wanted to express more than her breastmilk.

Lyndal grew up in an over-crowded household, on a very busy road, dreaming of the little things in life – like a bedroom of her own, an uninterrupted shower and the simple pleasure of silence.

Once she conceded life would remain a nightmare until she was old enough to move out, Lyndal began dreaming the bigger dreams, of being a writer and editor. While Lyndal sent herself off to University, she envied her friends who traveled the world, attending the university of life (booze, sex and self discovery).

Years, careers and tears later, she’d learnt the hard way that booze and sex can lead to heartbreak, distress and – worst of all – motherhood! Despite the fact her own mother had born five children by the age Lyndal had her first, she felt completely overwhelmed by the pressures this new 24/7 career demanded of her.

Almost overnight, she found herself living with a 15 year old step son, a 7 month old (daughter) and a stressed-out stay-at-home dad. One day, while pumping breast milk to the tune of her favorite nursery rhyme in the office toilet, she stopped and asked: Is there another way?

Life OUTSIDE the (ML) Kitchen

Lyndal lives in the Blue Mountains of NSW with her joyful 5 year old daughter Lily and her hilarious partner, Robert and equally hilarious (male) rabbit, Julia. She can frequently be found assuming a zen-like meditation posture, which, to the delight of her family, manages to keep her dragon-like temper at bay.
